Mr. Halper is a Founding Partner. For the past 9 years he has been engaged by a number of middle market and entrepreneurial companies primarily in the furniture and home furnishings industries as a strategic advisor. His extensive industrial knowledge and expertise is derived from having served over 35 years at Seaman's Furniture Company and its successors, including Levitz Home Furnishings, Inc., ultimately as Vice Chairman. Having served for more than 10 years as its Chief Operating Officer and in most operational and merchandising leadership roles at Seaman's, he is credited with having built the infrastructure on which one of the most successful regional furniture and home furnishings retail businesses was developed. During his tenure, sales increased from approximately $3 million annually to more than $400 million. Mr. Halper was graduated from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Science and Economics.
Mr. Martinez is a Founding Partner. For the past 9 years he has been engaged by a number of middle market and entrepreneurial companies primarily in the furniture and home furnishings industries. An accomplished Senior Executive and acknowledged industry expert, he specializes in Product Design and Development, Sourcing and Merchandising. Having served almost 25 years with Seaman's Furniture Company and its successors, ultimately as Senior Vice President-Merchandising, and driving growth to more than $400 million in annual sales, he was instrumental in assisting with the pioneering of international sourcing and the development of "just in time" supply chain processes utilizing RFID.
Mr. Landeck is a Founding Partner. For the past 7 years, he has been engaged by numerous middle market companies in the retail, distribution, manufacturing and professional services industries as a Financial Advisor with special emphasis on turnaround and restructuring situations. Prior to this, he served as sitting CFO for several billion dollar, multi-location businesses including the NYSE listed Bally Total Fitness, private equity owned Levitz Home Furnishings, Cablevision Electronics Investments Inc. ("The Wiz" a wholly owned subsidiary of NYSE listed Cablevision Systems Corp.) and private equity owned Herman's Sporting Goods. He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co., is a CPA and was graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Accounting in 1982.
